On 10 December 2018, 11 years have elapsed since Philadelphia Jerry Ricks, one of the most prominent representatives of traditional country blues, passed away in Rijeka on October 10, 2007, after losing the battle with an incurable illness. This peculiar blues musician spent his last years in Kastav, choosing it as his last resting place.
For the first time in a music documentary of Croatian production fascinating data appeared proving Jerry’s musical roots were connected with the foundations of American music ……
