The Highlanders
The group was founded in 1998 in Užice, and its audience can enjoy a forgotten musical form from the late 1960s and early 1970s – a psychedelic mix of blues and rock. So far they have released five albums and two live performance DVDs, from the 12th “In Wires” Festival as an opening band for Jefferson Starship from San Francisco and the 20th “Nišville Jazz Festival”, and they can also be found on the DVD release “The Best of Nišville 2014 ” alongside with The Blues Brothers Band.
In the present work, they have performed a number of concerts at numerous festivals in Croatia and Serbia. At the premiere of the Jerry Rick’s blues festival, they will be present in the following post: Miloš “Shommy boy” Milojević (guitar, slide guitar, vocal and mouth harmonica), Dragoljub “Matt” Zumberović (drums), Ilija “Ike” Smiljanić (guitar and vocals) Miodrag “Mick” Dikić (bass guitar, acoustic guitar, mouth harmonica and vocals).
